Proud to be 'Declared'
We’re proud to say that our Residential Series, Metro Series and APL Architectural Series Ranges are now ‘Declared’ by the International Living Future Institute. Through self-disclosure of ingredients, sourcing, and life cycle information, Declare is a tool to show our customers that our products can be trusted. It means we’re being measured by an industry-recognised tool that requires us to be totally transparent about our products.
What 'Declared' means
Declare takes complex chemical analysis and raw material source location information and provides it to consumers in an easy-to-use label. It also offers product specifiers the tools they need to make fully informed choices when selecting healthier products.
Colour coding of ingredients clearly flags the presence of Red List or Watch List Priority for Red List Inclusion chemicals. Created as a direct support to Living Building project teams, a product’s compliance with the relevant imperatives of the Challenge are clearly stated at the bottom of the label.
Our Declare label discloses the following information about our product Ranges:
-
Where our products come from:
Our Residential Series, Metro Series and APL Architectural Series Ranges are finally assembled in New Zealand and the Pacific -
What our products are made of:
Our Residential Series, Metro Series and APL Architectural Series Ranges are Living Building Challenge compliant and LBC Red List approved. -
Life expectancy and where the products go at the end of their life:
Our Residential Series, Metro Series and APL Architectural Series Ranges have a life expectancy of 25+ years, and are 98% recyclable.
APL Specifier Guide
Our digital APL Specifier Guide, covers our unified, complete window system. This brings together our APL frames with high-performance Low-E glass from AGP, our sister company and the glass manufacturer that completes our system. AGP’s range includes Solux-E® and Solux Ultra®, enabling specifiers to select glazing that aligns with both performance goals and aesthetic intent.
The guide includes product drawings and technical information for the complete library of products from the APL ranges, along with expanded ThermalHeart+® comparison charts, and an H1 Table, making R-Value and Ug-Value selection faster, clearer and easier to document under NZBC Clause H1.
