FINEX

FINEX is APL’s on-site anodising plant and is the most modern facility in New Zealand. It produces both standard and ‘frost’anodised product. Frost anodising is a lustrous finish with a high uniformity of appearance.

The FINEX plant includes the latest effluent treatment technology. An extensive underground storage and treatment system was included in the plant’s construction and may well be unique internationally for the comprehensive and integrated design approach that was taken.

Other environmental enhancement and mitigation measures were designed into the plant including water recycling, re-use of process heat generated,and special treatment processes to render metal and solid waste landfill compatible.
