APL Direct

APL maintains a fleet of purpose-designed trucks to distribute its extrusions to customers and manufacturers throughout the country.

These vehicles – 11 in number – have been equipped for handling aluminium profiles and allow removal of loads by either forklift or gantry operation. The trucks ensure that APL extrusions reach the customer base in excellent condition without handling or transportation damage.

APL Direct trucks conform to the highest environmental standards, being rated at either Euro-4 or Euro-5 for emission and fuel economy purposes. GPS and other leading edge technologies, including driver accommodation facilities, are included for optimum fleet management and personnel comfort and efficiency.

APL maintains a South Island warehouse in Christchurch.
