APL supplies over half of the residential construction market in New Zealand with their window and door requirements throughout three national brands, Altherm Window Systems, First Windows & Doors and Vantage Aluminium Joinery.

Other well known window and door product ranges offered include the Metro Series, APL Architectural Series, Metro Series Thermal Heart, the Smartwood series, and diverse commercial suites. Miro and Icon are exclusive hardware ranges with an integrated look.

APL designs and tests its proprietary systems and also has an on-site aluminium extrusion plant (INEX), surface finishing plants (FINEX for anodising, Colour Works for powder coating), a manufacturing facility (ALPAC) and a distribution fleet (APL Direct) to service its network of over 70 manufacturers nationwide. APL also has branch offices which are maintained in Auckland and Christchurch.
